Our Team

We handle universitywide platforms including social media, the website, external and internal communications, trademark licensing and more. We also work with campus partners on strategy, expertise and training, and to promote Learn by Doing and its broader impact.

Our communications and media relations team informs regional and national news outlets, manages relationships with media, and keeps the public informed about happenings on campus.

A healthy relationship to the media outside of Cal Poly is critical. We help get our messages out locally and nationally.

We’ve put in the work to become the ultimate authority on the Cal Poly story, using a network of award-winning publications that reach both internal and external audiences and conducting years of research and planning to refine the university brand and voice.

Visual Communications

Our world-class graphic design team, campus videographer and photographer create photos, videos, and well-designed posters, signage, and other forms of visual communication to show, not tell, the brand.

Merchandising and Trademark Licensing

Our trademark licensing program protects and promotes our exceptional national reputation on branded products.

Web Communications

Any website needs to attract users — and be user friendly. Our web communications professionals know how to utilize tools like search engine optimization, user experience design and digital strategy to create and maintain appealing and usable websites.
