Biography
Erin Pearse is a professor in the Mathematics Department of the Bailey College of Mathematics and Sciences, who also leads Cal Poly’s Initiative for Climate Leadership and Resilience. As ICLR director, Pearse organizes interdisciplinary projects focused on climate change solutions, works with off-campus partners to leverage campus resources and student energy for their climate projects, and assists with grant writing. Pearse also works on sustainability issues in curriculum and student life, and the interface with campus facilities, as well as collaborations with other campuses.
